Richard “Rick” Harley Wetherill, 61, of Battle Creek, Michigan passed away on March 10, 2023, after suffering a massive heart attack. Rick was born in Battle Creek, Michigan to Gladys and Arthur Wetherill on June 10, 1961. He attended Battle Creek Public schools. He retired from Discount Tire after a decade of service. He enjoyed volunteering at Advantage Living Center, traveling, and spending time with his family and grandchildren.

Rick is survived by his wife, Lena Wetherill; life partner, Laurie Boven; children: Richie (Jen) Wetherill, Jamie (Amber) Wetherill, Ray (Jessica) Wetherill, Becky Wetherill, Steven (Chelsea) Simington, and John Michael (Rachel) Boven.; brothers: Arthur Wetherill, Jr. and Larry Wetherill; sisters: Ruth Alagia, and Kathryn Hoffman-Allen.; grandchildren: Mykenzie, Jackson, Amaris, Abel, Analia, Tristen, Isabella, Clark, Dezirae, Ashton, Kamden, Mia, Conner, Liam, and Nicole.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Gladys and Arthur Wetherill; brothers: Garry, Michael & Stephen Wetherill, and Harold Hoffman; and his sister, Doris Rush.

A celebration of life and luncheon will be held Sunday, March 19, 2023, at 1:00PM at the Convis Township Hall located at 19500 15 Mile Road, Marshall, Michigan, 49068.
